Evy Cailliau

Evy was born and raised in Belgium, and speaks fluent French, Flemish (Dutch) and English! Combining her creativity and passion for health, with her interests in human anatomy and sports, Evy has completed a BSc in Podiatry at the University of Artevelde in Gent, Belgium.  

Evy has also lived and worked in the UK as a Podiatrist, where she went on to complete her MSc in Podiatric Surgery and publish her very first article in Podiatry Now 2020, before moving to Australia.

Taking special interest in treating lower limb pain, Evy also enjoys performing nail surgeries and regularly administers PACT and SWIFT treatments for our patients. 

Outside of work, you can find Evy training competitively at her Thai Boxing club, or walking her puppy, Amos.

Experience in the podiatry sector:
MSK, nail surgery, (steroid injections - not in OZ), verruca therapies, Diabetic foot care, routine treatment and assistant in Podiatric surgery (especially with ankle blocks - not in OZ).


Board certification/qualifications:
MSc in Principles of podiatric Surgery (with distinction in the UK), BSc in Podiatry (with Merit in Belgium).


Education details:

Gent University School of Arts, Belgium graduated Fine art degree grade: 1st (distinction) from 2011- 2014   

With an Exchange study period of (6 months) to Nottingham Trent University, UK in 2013                           

Dissertation: Vanitas in modern art 

  • Gent Artevelde University, Belgium graduated BSc Podiatry. Studies taken over 2 separate periods.       Grade: 2.1 (merit) from 2009- 2011, 2014- 2016. 

Dissertation: Impact of tibialis posterior deficiencies stage II and III on plantar pressure profile in adults.                                     

  • Huddersfield University, MSc Principles of Podiatric Surgery 2017-2019, part time grade: 1st (distinction)) 

Dissertation: Lesser metatarsal phalangeal joint Cartiva surgery, a service review (Published Feb 2020)
