Jason was born in China and moved to Brisbane when he was very young. Raised in a medical family, he became inspired to follow his parents
and grandparents’ footsteps to help others to the best of his ability.
His first encounter with podiatry was following a soccer injury. This experience led him to see the need for podiatrists in the running and sporting community and drove his determination to be one who would play a role in resolving and preventing injuries that would stop people from achieving their goals.
Jason dedicated himself to his studies and graduated from Queensland University of Technology with honours after completing his thesis that assessed the in-shoe pressure measurements between different running shoes.
He is passionate about evidence-based practice to deliver the highest level of professional care so that his patients get the best possible outcomes. He is an all-rounder podiatrist but has a particular interest in biomechanics and treating painful lower limb conditions.
Jason is fluent in Mandarin and in his spare time you’ll often find him swimming, playing competitive table tennis, and spending time
with family and friends. Another fun fact, Jason’s parents roam around Brisbane in a food truck serving up some of the most authentic
dumplings in town. We recommend asking Jason where the food truck will be popping up next.
