Our Kedron Podiatrists Services

Shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy is a treatment that's commonly used on plantar fasciitis. It involves sending acoustic waves to a patient's injured tissue, which encourages the body's natural healing process.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique where super fine needles are inserted into trigger points in the foot or lower limbs. This treatment can relax overworked muscles and help to improve tissue quality.

PACT

PACT treatment is used to treat fungal nail infections. It works by sending a high beam of light to penetrate the infection and kill off any fungus. Though a relatively new treatment, PACT is a safe and proven treatment that will not affect the surrounding skin or tissue.

Swift Therapy

Swift therapy is commonly used to treat warts - especially plantar warts which are highly contagious and often occur on the feet. The therapy sends low-dose microwave energy to the wart, which encourages the body to produce an immune response to fight the virus that caused the wart.

Custom Orthotics

Custom orthotics are personally designed shoe inserts that help increase misalignment in the foot and correct a person's gait. Orthotic therapy support problem areas in the foot and can improve posture and mobility. They're also effective in helping patients find relief from pain that may be caused by bursitis, diabetes, plantar fasciitis and arthritis.

Diabetic Foot Assessment

Diabetes can cause poor blood supply and circulation, which can extend down to the feet and cause health complications. Our diabetic foot treatment plan also offers in-shoe pressure analysis which can reduce the likelihood of ulcerations. If diabetic foot conditions are left untreated, they can lead to devastating situations, and in extreme cases, amputation may be required. It's very important to have a regular diabetic foot assessment if you suffer from diabetes.

Foot Care

While our podiatrists are skilled in treating specific, serious conditions, they are also experts in general foot care. They can assess and treat a range of different foot ailments, like nail conditions, like fungal or ingrown nails and common skin conditions like cracked heels, corns, callous, nail surgery, psoriasis, warts, and Athlete's foot. Whatever your foot problem is - we can assess it and work out. treatment plan with you.

Foot Care Products

Treating food conditions is important, but so is maintaining good foot health, or preserving your treatment at home. We offer a wide variety of foot care products to help with footwear fitting such as The Well Heeled range, Callusan skin hydration, nail care and beauty products from Dr Remedy, anti-inflammatory products for tired achy muscles and joints like Fisiocrem, anti-fungal skin treatments.
