The Feet People clinic is a podiatry chain located in Brisbane, Queensland. We have two different clinics, one in Newmarket and one in Brisbane CBD.
Unlike a medical centre, which may have a podiatry services section or a podiatrist on staff, we are completely focused on conditions of the feet and lower limb. We don't spread our expertise thin, The Feet People is made up solely of podiatrists.

Shockwave therapy is a modern treatment that delivers high and low energy waves to injured tissue to help encourage the body's natural repairing response. In podiatry, we commonly use this type of treatment to fix plantar fasciitis. This method works by creating micro ruptures are the site of the injury, this encourages blood flow to the area and kick starts a repair response.
Dry needling is used to help increase mobility and remove pain involved with tight muscles knots. The medical term for muscle knots is actually myofascial trigger points. During this treatment, tiny needles are inserted into the trigger point which will cause the muscles to jerk and then relax. When the muscles relax it will help to release the knot.
Although fungal nail infections can occur on the fingernails, they are much more common on the toenails. While fungal nail infections are a serious health problem, they can be unsightly. PACT therapy is a revolutionary method that can kill off the fungal virus without affecting the surrounding tissue.
Swift therapy is a non-invasive treatment used to eliminate warts. At The Feet People, we commonly used this method to eradicate plantar warts, however, we can use it on any warts from the elbows down. The treatment is superior to freezing a wart with dry ice because it doesn't damage the skin, cells or tissues surrounding the wart. Instead, a microwave beam penetrates deep in the wart and encourages the body's immune system to fight off HPV, the virus that causes the wart.
Custom Orthotics are foot inserts that are created to address a specific problem. They are used to correct biomechanical foot issues which can cause mobility problems, poor posture and foot pain. During an appointment, a podiatrist will conduct 3-D scans to correctly detect your issues, as well as undertake a full foot and lower limb assessment so that they can create orthotics to correct your problem.
Due to poor circulation and blood flow, diabetic ulcers can be a complication of diabetes. These ulcers can be very dangerous and can cause serious health problems. So, if you have diabetes it's a good idea to get a regular check-up so that diabetic ulcers can be treated as soon as they're evident.
As well as treating specific conditions, we also offer our patients a range of foot care options for nail conditions, like ingrown or fungal toenails and common skin conditions like cracked heels, corns, callous, warts, psoriasis, and Athletes foot.
So that patients can look after their feet from home, we offer a wide variety of foot care products to help with footwear fitting such as The Well Heeled range, Callusan skin hydration, nail care and beauty products from Dr Remedy, anti-inflammatory products for tired achy muscles and joints like Fisiocrem, anti-fungal skin treatments.
All of our practitioners are registered with the podiatry board of Australia which is administered by Australian
