What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?

• The NDIS is a national framework designed to provide support to people living with a disability, along with their families and carers. It ensures access to necessary services for individuals under the age of 65 who have a permanent and significant disability. Important NDIS Updates – October 2024

As of October 3, 2024, For the most accurate and up-to-date list of supports, participants and their support teams are encouraged to refer to the official NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2024–25 or consult with their plan manager.. Participants should note that NDIS funding can now only be spent on items listed in the approved NDIS supports list. Any items listed as non-NDIS supports cannot be funded. It’s crucial for participants to review these updated lists to ensure their claims and service agreements are aligned with the new guidelines.​

Additionally, a new NDIS Bill that aims to clarify and improve funding processes has been enacted, which may affect how you access supports. During your initial appointment, our podiatrists will also provide valuable foot hygiene training to NDIS participants, their families, and support workers.

What we will need from you?

If you are an NDIS participant, or are assisting an NDIS participant and would like to arrange an appointment with us, please fill out our NDIS Referral form here.

Before commencing services, we will work with you to establish a clear service agreement, outlining the support to be provided, associated costs, and your rights and responsibilities.

This form will collect basic information from you that will assist us in booking your appointment. We collect this information to ensure we don't encounter any errors when billing for your appointments.
