Stephanie Bain

Stephanie was born in NSW however, throughout her childhood moved all around Australia as her Dad was in the RAAF. As a result, Stephanie was able to represent multiple schools and regions for a range of track and field events which then led to  her running at a National level for the 400 and 800m events. Stephanie became a podiatrist because being a runner herself, growing up she saw a lot of podiatrists and was always so grateful for their help in resolving a range of different injuries.

Stephanie loves all aspects of podiatry but has a special interest in biomechanical and running analysis, post operative rehabilitation and sports podiatry. Throughout her career Stephanie has worked extensively with patients with recurrent ankle sprains and lateral ankle instability, sporting overuse injuries such as stress fractures, tendonitis and plantar fasciitis and acute injuries such as muscle strains and ankle fractures.

Stephanie also enjoys treating active children including a range of growth plate pathologies such as Osgood Schlatter’s disease, hypermobility, intoeing, toe walkers, the paediatric flat foot and running and coordination development.

Stephanie enjoys connecting with each patient individually to understand their goals. She is passionate about finding the root cause of her patients' concerns and believes in taking a hands-on and holistic approach to restore pain free function and movement.

If Stephanie isn’t working or training for her next road race you will find her training and playing with her 1 year old toy cavoodle Ari, trying out all of Brisbane's best rated restaurants or going to Noosa with her partner and of course Ari.
